We started Range Road Solar because we saw how the industry worked — large companies selling systems they would never install themselves, subcontracting the actual work to whoever was available that week, then disappearing after the cheque cleared.
We built this company differently. Small crew. High standards. Every project designed and installed by the same people. When you call us after installation, the person who answers knows your system because they built it.
That is not a marketing position. It is how we operate.

We don't subcontract. We don't use rotating outside crews to fill gaps in the schedule. The people who install your system are Range Road Solar employees — trained specifically for this work, on these types of properties, in this climate.
They're skilled tradespeople. They're paid well and treated as long-term team members — because the quality of the work depends on it. When you hire Range Road Solar, you get the same crew that has built every other project we've completed.
Accountability stays in-house. If something needs to be addressed after installation, the same people who built it come back to address it. There's no finger-pointing between contractors.

Rooted in Alberta.
Our crew came up through the trades — ironworkers, electricians, general contractors. Several of them own acreages. Most of them grew up in rural Alberta. They understand what it means to build something that has to hold through an Alberta winter and still be producing power twenty years from now.

Tradespeople, not salespeople.
Every person on our crew holds a trade ticket or is working toward one. We don't hire people to talk about solar. We hire people to build it.

Alberta conditions are different.
Snow loads, freeze-thaw cycles, hail, and wind. Our crew has installed in all of it. We build systems that are engineered for where you actually live.

We live here too.
Most of our crew own property in rural Alberta. When we build your system, we build it the way we would build on our own land.
