We started Range Road Solar because we saw how the industry worked. Large companies selling systems they would never install themselves, subcontracting the actual work to whoever was available that week, then disappearing after the cheque cleared.

We built this company differently. Small crew. High standards. Every project designed and installed by the same people. When you call us after installation, the person who answers knows your system because they built it.

That is not a marketing position. It is how we operate.

Every panel, inverter, and racking system we install carries a manufacturer's warranty. If a component fails, we deal with that claim directly instead of pointing you toward a support line for a brand you have never spoken to. Standing behind a system means more than saying the words when you sign the contract. It means still answering when something needs attention two winters later.

We would rather have an uncomfortable conversation before a contract is signed than after. If your roof has a shading problem, if your electrical panel needs work first, or if the numbers do not pencil out for your property, we say so before you spend a dollar. A contractor who only tells you good news is not being straight with you.

We don't subcontract. We don't use rotating outside crews to fill gaps in the schedule. The people who install your system are Range Road Solar employees, trained specifically for this work, on these types of properties, in this climate.

They're skilled tradespeople. They're paid well and treated as long-term team members, because the quality of the work depends on it. When you hire Range Road Solar, you get the same crew that has built every other project we've completed.

Accountability stays in-house. If something needs to be addressed after installation, the same people who built it come back to address it. There's no finger-pointing between contractors.

Every installation gets walked before we call it finished. Someone who understands the work checks the racking, the wiring, and the grounding on site, not from a checklist in an office somewhere. That step does not go away once a crew has done a hundred roofs. It is part of how every job closes, every time.

When a customer calls after the install with a question about the monitoring app or a tripped breaker, the person who answers can speak about the actual system, not a case number. That is a natural cost of keeping the same people through the life of the account. We think it is worth it.

We've installed systems on properties like the ones we live on. That shapes how we build them. We're not in a hurry to close a deal. We want to build something that works for your family for the next twenty years.

If solar doesn't make financial sense on your property, we will tell you. We would rather lose a sale than install a system that doesn't perform.

After the system is commissioned, you are not handed off to anyone new. If something needs attention, a tripped breaker, a question about production numbers, a service call a couple of winters down the road, you call the same number you called to get quoted. We would rather answer that call ourselves than have you sit on hold with someone who has never seen your roof.

We also try to be straight about timelines. Alberta weather, utility interconnection queues, and equipment lead times all affect when a system actually goes live, and we would rather give you an honest date that might move than a fast promise we cannot keep.
