Its poles and wires reach through northern and east-central Alberta - on the order of 242 communities and 229,000 customers - and it is the electricity provider that appears in the Town of Fairview's own directory. FortisAlberta, the wires owner familiar to most of central and southern Alberta, has no footprint this far north. Your micro-generation submission is therefore ATCO's to receive: the single-line drawing, the paperwork, the bi-directional meter change, the inspection scheduling - those are ours to produce and manage.
