We submit the micro-generation application, provide the single-line diagram and technical specifications, and coordinate the bi-directional meter swap. APsystems microinverters handle the power conversion on residential and mid-size systems. Solis inverters go on larger farm arrays. The microinverter setup means every pair of panels operates independently. One panel in shade does not affect the others. One panel with snow does not pull down the string. Incentives That Apply to Milo Properties

If your farm or business is incorporated, you qualify for the federal Investment Tax Credit. That is 30% of the total system cost back in year one. On a $35,000 system, you get $10,500 credited against your corporate tax. No application to a bureaucracy. No waiting for approval. You claim it. You receive it.

Emissions Reduction Alberta periodically opens funding windows for renewable energy projects. The Canada Agricultural Partnership has also funded on-farm solar installations through its environmental programming. We monitor both and notify our clients when windows open. The ITC alone makes the economics work — anything on top of it is a bonus.

Even without the ITC, residential systems pay back in eight to ten years. After that, the electricity is free for the remaining life of the equipment. That is 15 to 20 years of zero cost power from a system that requires almost no maintenance. The math is not complicated.
